I do have a question:  Are the Digi-scrap-lapbook kits compatible with MAC?  I have to decide whether to add it to the laptop or the main computer. Decisions everywhere you go and everything you do.  :}

So in order to Digi-Scrap-lapbook I need a program; But do I also need software? thank you-Ellie

Robin,

I believe I have found a way to use the digital scrapbooking kits without having to have the Photo shop. I went ahead and purchased the Mesopotamia kit to see if I could just print out images by pasting them into Word,  so far this looks like it is going to work.  So with your basic color theme lapbook kits I can print these off and add the images by the old fashion cut and paste.  At least until I can get a Photo shop program. I am very excited. -Ellie

I see little Tali's photo--adorable! Combine your new clipart with lapbook templates from Homeschool Share to make some great lapbooks.

Thanks Robin for the recommendation. I purchased the bible clips from Logos- Just got them in the mail a couple of days ago. They look great! I'm looking forward to playing with them. A little busy right now with little Tali (new baby) :)

Cat,
I purchase the clip art at clipart.com and Logos.com. If its for personal use you can right click and save images from the computer.

Thanks for that. I have tried printing in 'grayscale'. The pages with only a little color look fine. I tried printing the creation days booklet which is all color. Comes out a little dark even on lower toner mode, so i am having a rethink about that one. Just wondering- where do you find your good clip art? I have tried searching with google for some biblical clip art, but haven't found very much. What sites/programs do you recommend??

I'm teaching a class of 12 children with these lapbooks. We print out all the insides in black and white and color (to save on ink). They print find in B&W. I can talke the color out but I think they print the same grayscale. Have you tried it?

Hi Robin
I have downloaded most of your genesis lapbook pages. They look great! I would love to use them with my children. I don't have access to a color printer -only a black and white laser. I don't really think they would look so nice in just B&W. I was thinking I could get the children to color them in, but don't know how to modify them without having to remake them completely?! Just wondering if you have any suggestions? THANKS!!

I am excited to get started with some of your lapbooks. They look like a lot of fun with great information. I love using lapbooks in our school. I did an obedience lapbook about eighteen months ago and we have done one on firefighters, one on Australia, and one on bees. We are in the middle of a butterfly book and will be starting a geography/Earth study soon.
